    Abstract

The objective of this study is to identify the factors affecting the job and workplace satisfaction of information communication technology workers. It was found that the dissatisfaction factors of monthly average income, job stability, promotion and personnel systems, and the satisfaction factors of compatibility of work and personal interests and personal development potential all had a positive effect on job and workplace satisfaction. Also, it was observed that graduates from 4-year universities rather than 2-3 year colleges, and more females than males had lower job and workplace satisfaction. Therefore, corporate managers and policymakers who seek to secure and maintain outstanding employees in the field of information and communications should improve the problems present in dissatisfaction factors, attune satisfaction factors such as compatibility of work, individual aptitude and personal interests, and provide a vision of personal development potential through work. This study also propose further follow-up research to investigate the causes of dissatisfaction among graduates of 2-3 year colleges and female workers.
